SInce I finished these pages the restoration of the museum's R4D Skytrain has been completed and it is airworthy. The museum's current management wants to get away from flying and mantaining large propeller aircraft and the Skytrain is up for sale and may not still be there when you visit. I did a little searching and found this C-47's For Sale Listing. It can be yours for $185,000. This link has more pictures of the R4D's interior.
