OK, so this was not exactly an Air Mobility Command Museum exhbit. This C-17 Globemaster III was doing touch and goes on the runway adjacent to the museum. The C-17's maneuverabilty is quite amazing, and it is remarkably quiet for a large 4 engine jet transport. The pilot/instructor sure put on a good show.

Here is a Youtube Video of the C-17 crash on 28 July, 2010 at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. The C-17 on these pages had noticably more airspeed when maneuvering than the Globemaster in this video.
