This is a converted Rail Trail, with the best maintained surface of the NJ rail trails that I've ridden. The trail runs along the banks of the Delaware, and further south along the Raritan canal. It's mostly wooded and shady and quite flat. It continues about 30 miles to Trenton, but I turned back just past Lambertville which was 17 miles from the start. There are a few portosans along the way, and you pass through Lambertville and near New Hope so you can get food and water along the way, or in Frenchtown at the start.
Take 78 to 513S to Frenchtown. Head towards the bridge and make the LAST left turn into a lot before the bridge and park.
