17 Spirit Of St Louis Nose Cone

According to the info card after Charles Lindbergh flew the Spirit of St. Louis from San Diego to New York he found that the Ryan NYP's prop spinner had a crack in it. He was going to throw it away but a friend of his, Arron Krantz asked if he could have it. After he died his son Ken gave the spinner to the museum on loan for display.

The sister ship of the Spirit of St. Louis resides at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden city Long Island
