Bike Ferry Spanning the Causeway Gap
The Castles of South Hero Island
This summer a local biking group made arrangements for a bike ferry spanning the gap in the causeway leading out to South Hero Island. The round trip was $5 which was a bit steep, but it made for a wonderful day of biking. From the park on Flynn Ave onto South Hero Island and past the winery and back was about 38 miles total. The castles built by some of the residents are very amusing.
