06 Boiler Access Doors - Burner Registers

My retired merchant marine friend Steve Maisch offered the following comments about this and the next page:

"You can access the furnace through one of these doors by removing it. Often there is a separate access below them. They appear to be mechanically atmomized and I would suspect the burn #6 or heavy bunker oil."
