United States Air Force Museum Cold War Gallery

As you enter the Cold War Gallery the first thing you will notice is the B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber. It is so incredibly sleek futuristic. To the right is the Convair B-36 Peacemaker. It is one big aircraft. Not as big as some of today's jumbo airliners but to see it up close is awe inspiring. This gallery is a mix of aircraft from the early 50s right up to present day. Be sure at some point to take the stairs or elevator up to the balcony where you can get a bird's eye view of all the aircraft at once. There is a lot here, more than I covered with a flight simulator, a cockpit you can climb up to and look in and other smaller individual exhibits. It's well laid out with good spacing between exhibits. Lighting is a challenge and tripods are a must for photos.
