This is the only remaining Piper PA-48 Enforcer of 4 built. It is not yet at the Piper Aviation Musem but the museum staff are lobbying hard to bring it to their museum. Currently it is tucked away in the USAF Museum in Dayton's R&D hangar. To see it you have to sign up for a bus ride from the museum to the R&D hangar and you will have about 45 minutes to view all the aircraft crammed in there before catching the return bus to the museum. If it were at the Piper Aviation Museum, it would be a centerpiece display rather than stored off site. I hope it makes its way home to Lock Haven one day..
