Stitching photos together into a panorama is one of the most fun things you can do with digital photography. However there are 2 imortant things you must keep in mind:
1. Keep the camera absolutely level at all angles. A tripod with a levelling bubble is best, but you can get by without and if you're really careful can do it hand held. If it is not you'll find the result is a little lumpy, like in the Turret View Panorama above
2. Keep the horizon dead in the verticle center of your view finder.
Follow those 2 rules and your post production work will be much less and you'll wind up with some very cool panoramas. |
