This particular B-17 Flying Fortress is a G model and originally had a chin turret. The turret was removed and the B-17 was repainted in the same markings as the Memphis Belle for use in the movie, The Memphis Belle. The original Memphis Belle B-17 is out at the USAF Museum in Dayton, OH undergoing a full restoration.
